Provisions for calculating tariffs in the market area

The network tariff is the price that every network user transporting gas through a network has to pay to the gas network operator for using the network (just like a postage stamp is the price for sending a letter or parcel). Ruling Chamber 9 does not, however, approve each individual network tariff (price on the price list). It just sets the level of the revenue that a gas network operator is allowed to generate. It also lays down the rules for gas network operators when they calculate the network tariffs from which they generate their revenue.
