Provisions for calculating tariffs in the market area

The network tariff is the price that every network user transporting gas through a network has to pay to the gas network operator for using the network (just like a postage stamp is the price for sending a letter or parcel). Ruling Chamber 9 does not, however, approve each individual network tariff (price on the price list). It just sets the level of the revenue that a gas network operator is allowed to generate. It also lays down the rules for gas network operators when they calculate the network tariffs from which they generate their revenue. The rules for calculating tariffs are laid down in the following procedures:
