Special network tariffs under section 20(2) GasNEV

The possibility of allowing special network tariffs pursuant to section 20(2) of the Gas Network Tariffs Ordinance (GasNEV) is intended to prevent the construction of economically inefficient, duplicated pipeline infrastructure. Yet special network tariffs may only be permitted under certain conditions, so as to balance the competing interests of network operators and network users.
Section 20(2) sentence 2 and section 27(1) sentence 2 GasNEV sets out that special network tariffs must be notified to the regulatory authority without undue delay. More details may be found in the guidelines and the data form.
