Visitors

The Bundesnetzagentur welcomes the keen interest in its varied work. Groups are welcome to visit our office in Bonn and meet our competent staff to discuss and learn more about topics of their interest. Anyone wanting to visit us should contact the press and public relations office

Electronic communications

As of 1 February 2003, communications with the Bundesnetzagentur can be sent electronically using a qualified electronic signature. Requests for legal remedies such as appeals can be submitted by email if they are signed electronically with a qualified electronic signature within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS Regulation).

Electronic documents must meet special technical requirements to be legally binding and valid and to enable the Bundesnetzagentur to process them and verify the electronic signature. Anyone wishing to send electronic communications to the Bundesnetzagentur should follow the guidance below.

The Bundesnetzagentur accepts PDF documents signed using a qualified electronic signature in accordance with the eIDAS Regulation. Only PDF/A documents are suitable for long-term archiving.

Access to the Bundesnetzagentur within the meaning of section 3a of the Administrative Procedure Act (VwVfG) is via the following address: poststelle@bnetza.de. Anyone participating in specific procedures with a separate email address will receive an email from their point of contact with the relevant details.
