Follow-up activities: "Alliance for consumer-friendly terminals for horizontal markets"

On 31 May 2010 the Bundesnetzagentur held a workshop entitled "Alliance for consumer-friendly terminals for horizontal markets – interchangeable CA/DRM systems" in Mainz as the first step in market players' follow-up activities to promote interoperability. This was followed by the launch by market participants of a standardisation initiative moderated by the Bundesnetzagentur. The results of the work are due to be presented within standardisation organisations in 2013. The Bundesnetzagentur and the Alliance members provide regular updates on the progress of their work to other interested market players and associations.
