Cat­a­logue of se­cu­ri­ty re­quire­ments

The Bundesnetzagentur has drawn up the Catalogue of Security Requirements for the operation of telecommunications and data processing systems and for the processing of personal data as the basis for the security concept, in agreement with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI).

Catalogue of Security Requirements pursuant to section 167 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG)

The determinations in the catalogue for the first time classify operators of public telecommunications networks as having an increased risk potential. They are subject to particular security requirements as set out in Annex 2 of the catalogue.

List of critical functions

The Bundesnetzagentur has determined the list of critical functions for public telecommunications networks and services with an increased risk potential in agreement with the BSI and the BfDI.

The list specifies critical functions, from which critical components within the meaning of section 2(13) of the BSI Act (BSIG) can be derived.

Instructions for the confidential transmission of documents

For submitting confidential documents by email, the Bundesnetzagentur provides a public PGP key to enable encrypted transmission to the email address 217.Postfach@bnetza.de.
