Emergency call numbers 110 and 112
The providers of publicly available telecommunications services in Germany are legally required to connect emergency calls made using the European single emergency call number 112, mandatory since 1992, and the additional national emergency call number 110 to the correct local emergency service centre without delay and free of charge, and to transmit information on the caller's location.
