International Signalling Point Codes

International Signalling Point Codes (ISPCs) are needed by operators of telecoms systems (as defined in Section 3 subparagraph 17 of the Telecommunications Act) who plan to establish Signalling System No 7 (SS No 7) signalling relations in the international intermediate signalling network with other telecoms system operators.

Eligible to apply are

  • holders of a Class 1, 2 or 4 licence (Section 6(2) subparagraphs 1(a), 1(b) and 2 of the Act) – or other persons operating, or planning to operate, a telecoms system with a

    switching or switching-supporting function -

    who

  • plan to establish signalling relations in the international signalling network with ISPC operators outside Germany.

Only one ISPC is allocated for each SS No 7 signalling point. If an operator has more than one signalling point at a location, an ISPC is normally allocated for one point only. A fee is payable for each ISPC allocated.

The Allocation Rules are in preparation.

If you would like to apply for an ISPC, please contact Mr. Roland Palz (+49 681 9330‑546) at the Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railway's Number Management Section, Talstr. 34-42, D-66119 Saarbrücken, Germany .
